***UPDATED***

**I DO NOT take credit for any of the Addons in this set up, the Authors have worked hard and deserve their credit. Thank you guys!**

I have done some reconfiguring of the UI to optimize it for Instances, Raiding, PvP and Leveling. You can Tank with it or Heal just as easy. I will have updated ART for the Addon Compilation soon, bare with me. Still a work in progress. ^_^

Now, this UI is designed for Healing, but you can tank and DPS with it just as easily. If you are a Tank or DPS and want the Party/Raid frames a little smaller - just type /omf . The frames will highlight so you can adjust them accordingly. To turn them off and 'LOCK' them, just type /omf once more. Tada!

Also, if you have any questions, Thank you's, art you want added or even a whole new set up that is designed just for you, leave a Comment. I'll admit now, I'm quite bored in game and would love to create a Compilation just for your Game-play and Style! Whether it's PvP, PvE or just the random Casual player, I'll help you out.

Welcome To ZzyzxUI:
-------------------------------------------------------
This is a "minimalistic" compilation that holds onto the information and functionality, while still keeping most of the good looks. Although it's my first public release, I've been compiling UIs before. I also started editing AddOns, which can be seen in this UI aswell.

Please take some time to read below. Should you have any trouble, contact me in the Comment Section.

Notes And Reminders:
-------------------------------------------------------
This UI was created for my own needs and preferences. Requests for changes and additions will be taken under consideration though.

- Resolution: 1600x900;
- Classes: Rogue;
- Specifics: Combat PvE, Subtlety PvP.

I have some alt characters, so I've made this UI work for all the other classes without having to enable or disable any of the addons included. Changes might be needed to suit your own needs though.

Bugs And Issues:
-------------------------------------------------------
There are currently no major LUA errors or known bugs.

- Using this UI under different resolution or scale might make it look terrible;
- No class specific additions are included other than for the Rogue class.

Please do let me know if you happen to find errors or bugs, do so in the comment section....

Diablokon's Hybrid UI (4.3.2) (3.1)

$

0
UPDATED TO VERSION 3.1 FOR PATCH 4.3.2

Hello everyone and thanks for looking at Hybrid UI.

Supported Resolutions are 1920x1080 & 1440x900. May not work with others.

Hybrid UI is a little something I came up with when I decided that there would never be another UI out there that fit my specific needs. Hybrid UI is made to utilize every class role out there. Normally when you download a UI it is made to cater to one specific class or role, but with this UI it works wonders for tanks, healers, ranged and melee DPS.

How to Install

1. Go to wherever your World of Warcraft game is installed.
2. Open up your WTF folder and go inside.
3. Click on account.
4. Replace "ACCOUNT NAME" with your own account name (all caps). This will probably be your battle.net e-mail address unless you made the account before the switch to battle.net.
5. Replace "SERVER NAME" with the name of the server your character is on that you want to set up this UI for.
6. Replace "CHARACTER NAME" with the name of the character you are setting this UI up for.
7. The UI is now installed.

In Game Configuration

To configure the UI up in game you will need to type this console command:
/reflux switch Diablokon

That will automatically set up all of the addon profiles for you. The addons that you may need to configure yourself are:

1. Recount
2. Tidyplates
3. Masque (aka button facade)

Any other addons you can configure to your liking but those are the ones that don't have addon profiles.

FAQ

If you have any questions about this UI please feel free to post them in the comments section or whisper me in-game about them or drop me an in-game mail if I'm not on. My name is Diablokon @ Mug'Thol. Any other questions that can be quickly solved will be posted here when asked.

Description:
--------------------
Introduction

FreeUI is a minimalistic all-in-one UI. It's suitable for any playstyle and is designed to draw attention to important elements and reduce the visibility of the things you don't care about. A simple in-game setup interface with an optional tutorial gets you started in no time. Paired with its crisp Aurora window theme, low memory and CPU footprint, FreeUI is a solid interface for whatever you do.

Install

Drag the included addons to your AddOns folder as usual. Make sure the !Install addon is loaded before logging in for the first time with FreeUI on any character. You will be given the option to take a brief tutorial, or install the UI.

After the first installation, generally it is not necessary to run anything other than the chat installation on other characters.

Updating

When updating the UI to a newer version, you generally only need to replace the files present in the 'files changed' list in the change log of the version you are updating to. If you run into issues, however, it is recommended that you try a clean install.

Options

You can open FreeUI/scripts/options.lua with a text editor such as Notepad or TextEdit to view and adjust the options and profiles available for this UI. The comments added in the file should make editing self-explanatory.

Support

Before you ask any questions (which I will gladly answer), please consider this first to help me save some time:

Read the tutorial included in the installer which you can bring up by typing /freeui install.
Check FreeUI/options.lua to see if there already is a setting for what you want to ask/suggest.
Read the FAQ and known issues below.

What is this? - This is a full replacement for the default Blizzard user interface(UI). The general idea came from a UI known as MazzleUI. The GrimUI core itself controls your unit frames, artwork, some action buttons and a whole lot more! Best of all, it does this with out you spending hours on placing frames. It looks and functions much like MazzleUI did, it is also similar to nUI if you are familiar with that. GrimUI out of the box should require no setup itself. Macaroon handles the main action buttons and is included. GrimUI will setup a default Macaroon layout. Check out GrimUI on Facebook GrimUI Fan Page

How do I use it? - First you must download this file. Then back up your current Interface and WTF folders in your World of Warcraft directory, in case you decide to revert back. It is best to delete your current WTF and any AddOns in the AddOn folder however GrimUI should install and function with other AddOn's just fine. Place the the files in the zip file you downloaded into the Interface/AddOns folder.

When you first enter the game on a fresh install the chat frames may appear funny, or its possible sometimes for errors to pop on fresh installs if your say under attack when you log in or in a party or raid. If your chat frames or other frames are out of place Right-Click the GrimUI button on the right side of the screen to access the various reset buttons in the GrimUI options panel. The options panel can also be accessed through the normal Blizzard AddOn Options.

GrimUI should now be setup! Other AddOns that are included with the GrimUI for your convenience may require additional setup.

Will it work for me? - This UI was designed on a wide screen in a 1920 x 1200 resolution. It was also designed to self adjust...

** NOTE: This UI is optimized for 1920x1200 or 1920x1080 resolutions. It should work for smaller/larger resolutions, but the position of all the elements might be off and may need to be manually adjusted. I have no plans to modify this addon pack for other resolutions.

** This UI was designed for specifically for PvE raiding Resto Shaman. Any other class/spec and PvP may need manual modification.

** A video of this UI in action can be found HERE.

My UI attempts to achieve 2 goals:

Be simplistic, fluid, and semi-minimalistic.
Show only and all relevant information to the PvE resto shaman in a raiding environment.

** Installation instructions included in the download **

All addons are the latest version as of Febuary 8, 2012. Please consider using a tool such as the Curse Client to keep these addons updated. I may periodically release a new version of this UI if there are any significant changes in the Addons it contains.

This is a priest specific UI but can be easily configured to work with other classes. I don't have many alts but I have attempted to create profiles for Healing, Tanking, and DPSing.

How To Install:

1) Back up your "Interface" and "WTF" folders and store them on your desktop or wherever they are safe, then delete them from your WoW folder.

2) Download and extract the "Interface," "FONTS" and "WTF" folders contained in the FefinaUI file into your WoW directory.

3) Open up the new WTF folder followed by the Account folder.

4) Rename the folder called "YOURACCOUNTNAME" to your account name with caps.

5) Open your account folder and rename the "YourServerName" folder to your realm name.

6) Open that folder and rename the "YourCharacterName" folder to your character's name.

7) Log into WoW and enable out of date add ons.

8) In game, type /reflux switch HealerUI (exactly as it shows, caps where shown and no spaces where shown.) If you plan to DPS or Tank, the command is /reflux switch TankingUI or /reflux switch DPSUI.

9) It should work right away but if it does not, select the correct profile for each addon and everything should be spiffy.

I chose to stick with Clique, even with my recent change to VuhDo, simply because it's easier to work with my mouse bindings for my Unit Frames (stuf.) Simply disable Clique if you wish to use your own spell click bindings through VuhDo. Tutorials are here.

Mods that may need to be messed with:

SLDT - simply type /sldt global, and select the correct UI. May require a /reload.

If Dominos does not immediately choose the correct profile, go into the Profiles section of the config menu and manually copy the settings of the proper UI.

Satrina Buff Frames may not copy the correct profile. /SBF options; select the correct profile. May require /reload.

When you are done, /reflux save and /reload, just to be safe.

Please let me know if there are any more or if there are any problems that I am not aware of. Thanks!

AddOns:

* Reflux Profile manager.
* Bagnon- Bag addon
* BeautyLoot - beautifies loot windows, loot at mouse cursor, no ingame config
* Masque - button skinning mod; I'm using the 'pixelskin' skin
* Xanchat- Chat mod, enhances chat, low memory, minor ingame config
* Clique - mouse-over click healing mod, works well with Stuf - I still use this even with VuhDo
* Dominos - action bar mod
* Deus Vox Encounters (DXE) - raid encounter mod; much like DBM or BigWigs but much more customizable. /DXE config
* AZcastbars- castbar mod. /acb
* Vuhdo- raid frames mod - previously Grid. /vd opt
*GTFOraid- hides the ugly blizzard raid frames, no ingame config
*kgPanels - artwork for the interface. My layout is listed under FEFINA in the KGpanels config in game, but there is a lot of art available in the shared media files if you want to create your own custom layout. /kgpanels config
* Parrot- highly configurable scrolling battle text
* TullaCC - Cooldown count for everything (shows on buttons, buffs, etc) no ingame config
* pError- gets rid of pesky error messages like "That spell isn't ready yet" check the author's how to to configure
* Raeli's Spell Announcer (RSA) - great mod that announces major cooldowns like Pain Suppression.
* Satrina Buff Frames (SBF) - buff frames for both player and target buffs/debuffs. /sbf options
* Wanderlust - mini map mod, no ingame config
* Shared Media - tons of art and fonts to try out; I take no credit for the art I have collected. I have not included all art in my UI - simple lua editing if you wish to add more.
* shNameplates - nameplate mod, no ingame config
* TidyPlates (ThreatPlates) - used for tanking. nameplates of awesomeness.
* Simple Power Bar - move the blizzard alternative power bar and also provides some light customization
* TinyDPS - damage/healing meter mod, lightweight, some ingame config (right click on frame)
* SLData Text - data text mod /sldt global or /sldt config
* Stuf Unit Frames - highly customizable unit frames. If you don't like Grid, Stuf also has a raid frames option, however I have deleted the folders as I don't use them. Downloading the mod separately will provide you with the raid folders.
* TipTac - tooltip mod.
* Omen - Threat meter. I only use this on my tank or dps.
* WeakAuras - displays important, customizable information anywhere on your screen. Similar to PowerAuras.

Also Included:

* Buggrabber- takes care of errors with Bugsack
* tekkompare- hovering over a new piece of gear in your bags/in chat will show you your currently equipped gear in a tooltip. Very handy if you have a terrible memory as I do.
* Tekkrush - very simple disenchanting mod. Automatically accepts the "Disenchanting this item will destroy it" dialog.
* oPie - multi-purpose mod, I'm using it for marking/professions, etc.
* PetLeash - totally optional. Summons a new pet every few minutes. Very configurable.

I take no credit for any of the addons in my addon pack. Credit for all addons goes to the amazing addon authors. Special thanks to:

Aliena

Tuller
Satrina
Ishtara

And to all the authors of the addons I've used it this UI!

 1,000 Downloads! I am so happy to see this UI hit 1,000! Thank you for enjoying my UI!

VxtUI now officially works with Reflux! I have combined both UI's into one UI with 2 different profiles! This means you only need to install one UI and simply use the Reflux commands listed below to load the 2 different layouts. I had been meaning to do this earlier, but I didn;t have the time.

To load the UI after following the installation directions below, type one of these Reflux commands to load the specific layout.
NOTE: These are CASE SENSITIVE!!!
/reflux switch VxtUI
/reflux switch VxtUI2
/reflux switch VxtUI3

This UI is designed for a 1920x1080 resolution. I will not upload it in any other resolution. If you don't use the 1920x1080 resolution, I have included eAlign into the package so you may use it to rearrange the addons to match.

Installation

1. Backup your Interface and WTF folders.
2. Unzip VxtUI.rar to your Desktop.
3. Decide if you want VxtUI1(Dicate) or VxtUI2(Texty/Led)
4. Rename the "ACCOUNTNAME", "Server", and "Character" folders to your respected Account, Server, and Character names.
5. Move the Fonts, Interface, and WTF folders into your World of Warcraft folder.
6. Launch World of Warcraft and Log In as...

**This UI should work for most of the wide resolutions -- some minor tweaking might be necessary if your resolution is very different from mine, though.**

Addons
See the first image for a list of all the addons included in the package.

The ones boxed in red are directly related to combat or raiding, while the ones in green are to make things prettier or to make life easier. Obviously, there's some overlap (as some of the raiding addons make things prettier/easier) but I tried to classify them into what I thought their main function was.

Downloading and Installing
Tankspot.com has a guide on how to download a UI compilation, so if you're not sure what to do, I highly recommend checking it out. But always make sure you make a backup of your current interface and WTF folders before you do ANYTHING!

The ICONS folder under Interface is a bunch of cleaned up icon files. It's not an addon, but it will make the icons in-game look cleaner (and it works for buff/debuffs, items and addons like power auras, too). If you prefer the old school rounded-edge look of icons, you can delete that folder.

I've included some macros that I use, so if you don't want my macros to overwrite yours, make sure you don't copy the macros-cache.txt and macros-cache.old files.

For most of the addons, the profile you'll want to use is something to the effect of "Eluial - Korgath." You should try out a few of the profiles and if you can't get any of them to look right feel free to ask.

About the UI
You can see videos I've recorded on my youtube channel.

Because of where I've placed grid, this is pretty optimized for 10m raiding, but you can move grid elsewhere if you do 25m raiding (I move it to just above my minimap when I do LFR)

I've also uploaded a very quick video that shows the various hidden/confusing elements of my UI, plus a little bit of target dummy DPS. I plan on making a more in depth one in the future with audio commentary, but for now that video plus this summary should suffice.

The biggest thing is I hide my main action bar. To unhide it, type /bt to open the bartender config window, go to bar 1, visibility options, and scroll to the bottom. You should see a custom script box for visibility -- uncheck the box there and the bar will remain permanently visible.

To access bags, hit "b" - there isn't a bag icon that you can click.

The action bar that is showing can be paged to a second bar by holding down your alt key.

Contacting Me
If you have questions or comments about my UI, the best way to get in touch with me is either on the WoW forums in the Moonfarespam thread or by sending me a PM on The Moonkin Repository (nickname is Eluial). You can try leaving comments here or on youtube, but I don't check those often and am unlikely to respond in a timely fashion.

What is Curetia UI?

Curetia UI is a minimalistic WoW User Interface, mainly based on the newest ElvUI and some other up-to-date Addons.
The UI is mainly intended for PvE and comes with mostly PvE Addons which are already configured to fit perfectly into the UI.

Installation

Installation
1. Open your World of Warcraft folder. Save your "Interface","WTF" and your "Fonts" folder. You may not have the Fonts folder yet, no problem, just ignore it. To do that just copy the folders and put them somewhere else (backup copy).
2. Now delete your "Interface","WTF" and your "Fonts" folder inside your World of Warcraft folder.
3. Download Curetia UI and save the zip-file to your Desktop.
4. Copy the folders included in the zip-file into your World of Warcraft folder. (Not your AddOns, your World of Warcraft folder!) The zip-file includes a "Interface", "WTF" and a "Fonts" folder.
5. Go into your newly created WTF folder and rename your "ENTER_YOUR_ACCOUNTNAME_HERE" , your "Enter_your_servername_here" and your "Enter_your_charname_here" to their respective names.
6. Start World of Warcraft. If you had it open while copying, restart it now to load the textures.
7. Join a server and have fun
8. Type /ec and go to profiles from ElvUI and Load "Curetia" (only Layout that I will made)

Change Log:

021012 - cleaned up the file a lot. Removed information for addons that are no longer there, and removed all profiles for addons except for the ones meant to be used in the UI.

Description:

If you downloaded this UI before this update, I highly recommend replacing it with this new version. I have cleaned up the file structure, removed excessive profiles and fixed the problem with the chat box not being positioned correctly.

For most addons, the only non-default profile present is the one you want to use. I left a couple of the "feral" options there in case you want to try a slightly different look.

CATACLYSM COMPATIBLE!! 4.2.3

HixxyUIv2
A robust and compact UI for HEALERS!

HixxyUI is a light 9.6MB Download!

Hello, my name is ecide. I have been playing wow since midway through burning crusade. One of my biggest issues playing was having add-ons cluttering up my screen. I wanted to jack up my graphics and enjoy all the shiny things the game had to offer, without sacrificing any useful mods. And so I made HixxyUI. Its a compilation UI comprised of several commonly used add-ons, arranged in a way that provides as much screen real-estate as possible.

As of 2/11/2012, HixxyUI is bug free, meaning it will not crash or cause any abnormal performance issues.

A year has passed since I released the first version of HixxyUI, So I decided to update it, removing old add-ons and adding a few new features that I felt were practical in both pvp and pve environments.

By request, I have made HixxyUIv2 Scalable! Unlike the first version, useable only on 1920x1200, this version works from 1440x900 and higher resolutions. Please keep in mind that it will only scale properly with wide screen displays of any resolution. Besides....why should you be using CRT's anyway?

I take no credit for any mods that were used in this compilation UI. Any complaints or performance issues with the mods associated with this compilation should be redirected to their respective pages. But as i said, i use this UI myself daily, so i keep it up to date and error/bug free. HixxyUI comes with just the basics. Please feel free to add additional add-ons but note that i have not tested the compilation with any other add-ons except for the ones that come with it by default. I anticipate that most users will have other add-ons that they use, so I have added BugGrabber. This will help silence any errors that might occur, should any conflicts happen when adding your additional add-ons. You can periodically check BugGrabber by clicking on the minimap icon.

I hope you enjoy the updated HixxyUI.

Questions?

If you have any questions about the compilation, please share, Comments and criticisms welcomed.
You can also hit me up in game on my toon: ecide @ Illidan. The special character in my name is alt+0208 (using the number pad keys and not the keys above your keyboard)

Setup is a breeze

Before Setup, Set the UI Scale to the lowest point inside advanced options.

1. Create a folder in the main directory of your warcraft folder titled "uibackup". Now cut (not copy) both the "WTF" and the "Interface" folders into the backup folder. The idea is to have these folders now reside in the uibackup folder and not in the main directory of your warcraft folder.
2. Download HixxyUIv2 and Paste the files (the WTF and Interface folders) from HixxyUIv2.zip into the main directory of your warcraft folder.
3. Go into your WTF/Accounts folder and rename a few folders. This must be done in order for HixxyUIv2 to work.

ACCOUNTNAME = your wow account name
SERVERNAME = your servers name
CHARACTERNAME = your characters name

all done! Now if you want to use HixxyUI on an alt, just copy your main characters folder and paste it as a copy. rename that copy to the name of your alt character.

4. At the character selection screen, click on the add-ons button and check "Load out of date Addons".
5. After logging in, hit escape and go to the interface menu. From there you will go through all of the add-ons looking for the "profile" option. Select and load "HixxyUI" for

Be sure to load the "HixxyUI" profiles for these as well.

/kgpanels config - That provides background placeholders.
/hb config - no profiles need to be loaded. Just wanted to list it incase you wanted to make changes to the skins i modified or add your characters skills.
